AFN Radio

November 19, 2006

I never gave up on them and kept them as part of my favorite preset stations in the car. Now they’re back on air.

104.3 – Tom Joyner is back and so are the old school R’n’B jams.

107.9 – Sometimes country, sometimes classic rock and roll.

  1. I love Tom Joyner. He calls it as he sees it, sometimes crude, sometimes irreverent, and often unafraid to say things others fear.

  2. True, plus the music is great. Lots of nice oldies.

  3. Thanks for the info on AFN. I was hooked to it in Bahrain. And now the BBC World Service is available on 100.1 FM, Kuwait is definitely a better place for radio. For those who don’t know, BBC World Service is about 1000 times better than VoA, and it doesn’t have the ‘English for dummies’ delivery (i.e. it understands that its listeners have brains, wherever they come from).
